Substitutes Needed
The District always needs qualified substitutes for teachers, paraeducators, and nurses. The application form and an information sheet regarding qualifications and the hiring process can be obtained on our employment pages.
In some cases, educational requirements can be met through equivalent experience. Substitutes can choose schedules, schools, and age levels. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
The rate for classroom teacher and paraeducator substitutes is $70/day.
Substitute nurses are particularly needed. The rate is $120/day. If you are a nurse who likes children, with at least a couple of free days week, please consider helping with our substitute nursing shortage.
